About the Owner
My name is Caitlin and I am the owner of Royal Foxx Photos. I am a Professional Photographer and I love every bit of it. I decided to start taking photography classes back when I was in high school because of my interest in a camera function's and capturing special moments with different angles. It has always been my passion to become a photographer so I went right ahead and and started up my own professional photography business. There has been a learning curve after finding out what my clients were looking for in their special events, and of course most of all what I wanted to offer to my clients. I now allow others to recognize the beauty of photography, and videography by capturing their cherished memories forever.
I am very outgoing, friendly, understanding, determined, and driven. As a photographer I am naturally a people person. My goal is to capture emotions and smiles to store forever. My clients always come first when it comes to services. My company is different than any others in the area because I am available on your time clock, and I am very understandable. I have great customer service and I am very trust worthy. Our team can't be compared to any other in the Hudson Valley Area.
I specialize in my love for the camera and different angles of shooting. I have learned so many different techniques and ways to capture beautiful photos over the years. I am so thankful for the private events, and portraits I have captured so far in my journey as a photographer. I always establish a professional relationship with my clients.
I am not like any other private event business owner. My passion for Photography and Videographer is conveyed through the results. My team and I have had years of experience, and professional skills which are reflected in the outcome of our outstanding services as rated in our reviews! We love our clients and put them first on their special days. I always tell my clients that I am in this industry because I am always able to accommodate changes, and last minute alterations. Every event is unique in many ways, but one thing that is always the same is non expected changes. I am not only your photographer, Videographer, Vendor on your special day, but I am there to make sure everything runs smoothly, the vendors are ready to go, and your venue is all set. When something happens unexpectedly I am there to calm you down and figure it all out for you. My team and I are there to cater you on your special event, so we will take on your stress load! We do this full time compared to other companies who only provide services for fun, or part time on the weekends. As a photographer who specializes in many areas of photography, every private event and portrait shoot is totally distinct. Why you should hire our company for your special event?
Our company is uncomparable to any other in our market. Our team is highly professional, and all of our team members are experienced in private events, and portrait photography.
What style(s) do we specialize in?
Our team specializes in many areas of style. We offer digital, artistic, naturalistic, film, classic, dramatic, and documentary. Each of our photographers offer a differnt unique style that our clients love! You name it we offer it!
Will the photos be retouched and color balanced? Is that done before I see the proofs?
Our company makes personal touches to your final images. After your special event our professional editors take your raw photos and turn them into jaw dropping images for final delivery. Our team retouches and color balances your photos. We only deliver final copies to our clients as raw photos are never high quality, (dont let any one tell you other wise, they are lying). After editing professional high quality photos for over 7 years it takes hours on end to complete a full satisfactory gallery. We take hours to edit your final photos so that you can cherish them for a lifetime! You get what you pay for remember that, your happiness is worth your every penny!
How many weddings have you shot, and how many do you do in a year? Also, what's your favorite part of a wedding day, and time of year to shoot?
Our team combined has captured around 165 Weddings.
Do you usually shoot in both color and black and white? If you'll do both, what percentage of each do you recommend?
Our team completely covers your special event. If you ask to take a specific photo we most likely already captured it for you. When we edit your photos, we provide our clients with both color and blakc and white copies. Black and whites are perfect for wall decor and capture a different emotion when compared to color images, so our editors provide BOTH FOR YOU!
What exactly is included in your packages?
Each package we offer includes different coverage. Since each and every event is different and unique, our packages are able to be customized to fit all of your needs instead of our cleints paying for services that they dont need. We provide choice, and alterations to all packages to fit what your looking for! Just ask!
What is the deposit and total fee?
When booking private events, our company requires a deposit of 35% of your overall total. The remaining balance is broken into two payments. We also offer a payment plan which can assist you in budgeting up until your big day! When booking ask us about our payment schedules, and payment plans!
Will you be my actual photographer, or will it be one of your associates?
When you book your special day with our company, you will automatically book our main photographer Caitlin, and depending on your package a secon hand photographer as well. It all depends on the event and the services provided. As a client you are guaranteed to have Caitlin the owner and main photographer capture your big day!
Do you have backup photographers who will shoot the event if you're sick?
Of course, we would never cancel on our clients or leave them hanging. We have a team of professional photographers who will be sent as a back up just in case our main photographer Caitlin is out sick, or has an emergency preventing her from attending your event. If in the case this occurs, you the client will be contacted immediately to be informed about the conditions, and will be able to discuss their event with another head photographer. OUR TEAM WILL BE THERE NO MATTER WHAT!
How long after the event do we get to see the photos?
Our professional editing team takes a different amount of time to edit photos depending on the event. On average our team captures 4,000-12,000 photos per wedding and 2,000-4,000 photos per sweet 16/quince. Depending on your event it could take our team 2 weeks to up to 8 weeks max to deliver your final, fully edited images!
Have you ever shot at my venue(s) before?
Our team provides a variety of services. All of our team memebers have created relationships with venues over many years of experience. We have worked closely with many venues in NY, NJ, & CT, as well as destinational venues. For our staff, creating long lasting relationships with our venues and their staff is very important in the private event industry. We are always in constant communication with your venue up until your event date! We stand out compared to other companies because they show up on the day of your event and are lost, not familiar with the venue and the venues staff, and they dont know who is running the room for your event. Make sure your photographer is familiar with your event space other wise brace yourself.
Will you follow a shot list? Or do you prefer to have free reign to capture the festivities how you see fit?
Our team has a Private Event checklist which is sent to our clients when booking. On the day of your event, we will capture every single photo on that list as well as many others depending on your event. Every event is special and unique and they are never the same, so we are flexable with change in events and time schedules. We are always on the ball when it comes to ceremonies and making sure everything is on track for your big day! If you want specific photos, you will go over your photography checklist with your photographer before your big day, other wise show up and be ready to smile and have a great time!
What are the restrictions for sharing photos online or for publication? Do you own the copyright to the photos?
When sharing photographs over social media, the original photos given to the client by the company can’t be altered in any other ways from its original form. The client can’t put any overlays, or filters onto the photos when posting them or printing them. Clients will not be able to screenshot any pictures and post them because it changes the photos original form. Royal Foxx Photos owns the copyright of all images taken at your event. Clients must tag our company in all photos posted on social media in order for credentials. When our clients receive their final photos, they are delivered without a watermark so that they are accessible for automatic printing and downloading!
How are you creative, and how will our photos stand out from others?
As a photographer with many years of experience, I am always coming up with unique ideas and inovations to create new images. We stay up to date with trends and new editing techniques as that is one of our strengths when compared to other companies in our industry. Each events photos must stand out and new techniques must be used in order for your photos to pop out online. We don't provide boring photos for our clients becuase then we wouldn't be in business. Our photographers take seminars and classes monthly in learning new poses for clients so that they are never the same. Our photos stand out and are TOP OF THE MARKET IN CREATIVITY!
What do I do if i don't like my photo taken?
Our clients for the most part don’t know what to do in front of a camera. As professionals, our role is to alleviate any discomfort our clients have and make the session an enjoyable experience for them. Furthermore, we are constantly being creative and demonstrating confidence and expertise when it comes to posing for photos. For our team it's important to create an atmosphere that allows our clients to relax. BE CONFIDENT!
What are your prices and packages you offer?
Our pricing is different depending on the type of event. For weddings our pricing starts at $1,575 for the most popular package and can go up to $5,000 with all services included. We do offer add ons as well. When speaking to our clients for the first time, we are honest with them about what services we suggest that would fit perfectly for their wedding day. We always tell our clients not to pour money into something that their not 100% sure about, so we offer custom packages and can alter any of our packages to our clients wants and needs. Just ask us!
Do you offer prints and albums?
Yes of course! After final delivery of your photos you will have all of the digital downloads and can get the photos printed at a local pharmancy, or online. We also offer printing services for larger prints. Our PHOTO ALBUMS are the most popular service we offer as they are customizable and are able to be kept for a lifetime and passed down through the family! Our clients love them as much as we do so we offer a variety of books at different costs to assist our clients with budgeting!
Do you have liability insurance? Does it cover your assistants, as well?
Our company is fully insured. We provide every venue with proof of insurance by request.
What is your refund or cancellation policy?
In all of our contracts we have a specific cancelation policy. All of our cancelation policies and refunds vary depending on the time of the year and what is stated on your specific contract. Especially during the 2020 pandemic, our policies have changed. Make sure to ask us about our policies before fully booking! COVID-19 has changed our policies.
When will we receive the contract?
Every client recieves a contract withing 1-2 business days of booking. The contract states your specific event details and states all of our terms and policies discussed over the phone when booking. Please ask us if you have any questions about your contract!
Will the images be accessible online? For how long?
All of your final images will be delivered through email. We also provide the choice to purchase a USB Flash drive for physical copies in hand and for an extra option for clients who arent familiar with online downloading. Your photos will be uploaded into a custom online gallery which is organized for your viewing as well as your guests. You will have access to your gallery through a private link which can be shared with your family and guests through copying and pasting the link. You will be able to download all of the images at once. Your photos will be uploaded for up to a month, and after final delivery our company is not liable for loss of images beyond final delivery (up to 1 month).
Do you include engagement photos in your packages? What about pre-wedding events like rehearsal dinners?
Our team offers engagement photos seperate from our wedding packages. Our Engagment Photo Sessions can be added onto any wedding package at a discounted price, other wise they can be booked seperately. We also provide services for rehersal dinners, just ask during your consultation with our team members!
Have you ever worked with our planner? Videographer? Florist? DJ?
Fortunaetly for you we offer Photography, Videography, Photo Booths, & DJ Services. When providing mulitple services our clients feel more comfortbale when booking a full team who works together on a yearly basis 85% of the time. If you haven't booked your DJ or Photo Booth Rental yet, ask us about our services. Our team works with a highly rated and requested Entertainment company, which we have worked along side of for over 4 years in counting. When clients book one or two services we work along side of other vendors as well! Our team has worked with a variety of vendors for over 7 years. We all have a different amount of experience, but when it comes to vendors we are very personable and communicate with them up until your big day.
Can we see the full galleries of a few of your recent weddings?
When requesting full galleries of past clients, we are not able to share full galleries or videography recaps. When our couples book for their special day, they sign a model release form and privacy statement which states that our company will not be ablke to use their full footage and coverage for any promotional use. We will be able to share recaps and a few photos from recent events, but unfortunaetly not full galleries or full highlight reels. We protect our clients privacy rights and our company doesn't take advantage of those terms to benifit us in booking more events. We want all of our clients to feel protected and to feel comfortbale with sharing their special memories with their friends and family members not the web! Thank you for understanding.
